Office Hub named 2018 Business of Tomorrow by Westpac
Office Hub has been recognised by WestPac as a 2018 Business of Tomorrow for its vision and drive in helping shape Australia’s economic future.
We’re stoked to have been named one of Westpac’s 2018 Businesses of Tomorrow from more than 2,000 national applicants. By consistently demonstrating adaptability, resilience and value to customers, we’ve proven our ability to help the customers, economy and society of tomorrow.
High profile judges included Westpac Chief Executives David Lindberg and Lyn Cobley, Airtasker CEO & Cofounder Tim Fung and Professor Ian Harper from Melbourne Business School amongst others. Above and beyond the success of the company, the judges were looking for businesses that are ready to meet tomorrow’s challenges. They took into account everything from how we differentiate from our competitors and our effect on our industry to employee engagement and our goals for the next five years. With such an extensive judging criteria, it’s even more of an honour to be recognised for the way we do things around here.
“We’re privileged to receive this award as we believe Office Hub is a Business of Tomorrow in every sense of the phrase,” says Grant Philipp, Office Hub CEO & Founder.
“We’re resolutely committed to delivering an incredible experience for our customers and we’re working to revolutionise the entire office leasing industry. By driving this change, we can have a profound effect on the small business economy in Australia. We make it easier for businesses to find and rent the right office space, which gives them flexibility, affordability and incredible intangible benefits like more engaged and productive employees.”
“Our value to customers goes way beyond the surface – when we’re successful, it inherently gives rise to more profitable, happy and productive Australian businesses.”
David Lindberg of Westpac revealed his thoughts on this year’s Businesses of Tomorrow, saying that the winners demonstrate the scale of movement of the Australian economy into a digital world.
“Almost three quarters of the winning businesses are directly involved in technology or software development and over half (59%) have an ambition to expand into the global marketplace.”
These words are certainly true for Office Hub – our recognition was based on our world-leading technology and unique service that is tailored for the digital world. Plus, we’re currently expanding into Southeast Asia, showing our intention of taking over the global office space industry.
“We would also like to send congratulations to the rest of the Businesses of Tomorrow as we all work in our own way to shape Australia’s economic future,” says Grant.
