Approval to contact your Buddy

By submitting your referral, you give permission to the Office Hub team to contact the Introduced Buddy as receipt of the submission, unless otherwise instructed to contact you first. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you hereby represent that you have obtained consent from the Introduced Buddy to send their contact information to Office Hub for the purpose of participating in the Buddy Bonus Program as described in these Terms and Conditions. The Introduced Buddy will have the opportunity to inform Office Hub that (a) it is not looking for a Office Hub license/membership, and/or (b) it has not given authorisation to you in connection with the introduction.

If the Introduced Buddy informs Office Hub that it has not given authorisation to the Referrer, the Referrer will not be eligible for the Buddy Bonus even if the Introduced Buddy becomes a qualified introduction. The Referrer will have the opportunity to edit their contact information at any time by emailing referrals@office-hub.com.

The boring old T&C’s for the Buddy Bonus

For the referral to be valid the Referrer must enter the correct name, company (if applicable), email and phone number of the Introduced Buddy. If there is already an active lead in the Office Hub system for the Buddy referred or their related company, the Referrer will be notified of the rejection in writing within 48 hours of submitting the referral.

Anyone can refer a friend or client via the Office Hub Buddy Bonus. The only exclusions are employees currently working for Office Hub Pty Limited or anyone related to a current employee of Office Hub Pty Limited.

Referrals are valid for 90 days after the referral submission date. The Introduced Buddy must either (a) sign a license agreement and pay the first payment on their new office space through Office Hub within 90 days, or (b) sign a membership and pay the membership fee as an Office Hub Workspace Partner to rent out their office space within 90 days.

To ensure the Referrer is recognised for the referral, the Referrer’s details will be logged against the Introduced Buddy’s lead in the Office Hub system. The Referrer will be informed via email if they become eligible to receive the Buddy Bonus reward within 7 days of qualifying.

The Buddy Bonus for Buddies who want to rent office space is calculated as a percentage of the average monthly rental value of the space committed to. It is based on the base rental rate only, excluding any additional extras such as services, car parking or meeting room costs. i.e If an agreement is valued at AUD$5,000 per month for 6 months, the Buddy Bonus will be 10% of AUD $5,000. The Referrer will therefore receive AUD $500.

To qualify for the Buddy Bonus, the Introduced Buddy’s new average monthly rental value must exceed AUD $500. Referrals that convert to a deal under this average monthly value will not qualify for a Buddy Bonus.

The Buddy Bonus for Buddies who want to lease out their own office space is $100.

The referrer will receive their Buddy Bonus reward within 30 days of the agreement being signed by the Buddy and the workspace owner. The Bonus is in the form of a prepaid Visa card.

There are no restrictions to the number of people you can refer to the Buddy Bonus referral program.

How much can you make?

Referral for people looking for space – 10% of the average monthly rental value up to a maximum of AUD$1,000. The Introduced Buddy must sign a 6+ month license with Office Hub Pty Limited or a related partner of Office Hub. If Office Hub Pty Limited has commercially secured the deal and receives payment for the referral then the referrer will be rewarded for the referral. i.e If an agreement is valued at AUD $5,000 per month for 6 months the Buddy Bonus will be 10% of AUD $5,000 = AUD $500.

Referral for people wanting to lease their own space – $100. If the referred friend has office space to lease out, the referrer will receive an AUD$100 Buddy Bonus gift card when the referred friend signs the Office Hub Pty Limited membership agreement and makes the membership payment.

We may also transfer the personal information collected by us and make it available to our personnel, advisors, professionals, subcontractors, independent consultants, external third party services providers and our affiliates for the foregoing purposes. Some of these transferees may not be located in your country, and therefore your information may be transferred to countries that may or may not guarantee a level of privacy and data protection that is equivalent to the level of privacy and data protection set by the laws in your country;

Office Hub reserves the right in its sole discretion to make any determination under these rules, including, without limitation, the determination of your eligibility, a qualified introduction and the amount and payment of Fees. If Office Hub determines, in its sole discretion, that you have violated these terms, you will not be eligible for the Fees and Office Hub reserves the right to disqualify you from the Buddy Bonus. Nothing in these rules grants you or any other party any right, title or license to use any of Office Hub’s trademark or other intellectual property rights. By submitting introductions, you will not be deemed to be an employee of Office Hub. Office Hub reserves the right to amend these rules at any time without prior notice.
